At the end of this activity, participants should be able to select supplements with evidence for efficacy in chronic pain conditions; describe potential adverse effects of commonly-used supplements for pain, including omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin C, coenzyme Q10 and magnesium; and identify the appropriate vitamin D supplementation for patients with chronic pain conditions.
