Posted by onDetails
Director of Research at Berkeley Patients Group, Amanda Reiman, MSW, PhD points out issues of consistency and quality of medical cannabis procured from dispensaries in California. Also, terpenes and flavonoids could be interacting with THC and CBD differently with various patient experiences.
Conclusion – “Well informed patients help insure benefit maximization of medical cannabis. But, that’s only half the story. Doctors, nurse, social workers – they need the information too, so that health professionals and patients can be partners in facilitating the healing process, both as informed consumers.”
Presented to the Sixth National Clinical Conference on Cannabis Therapeutics, held in Warwick, Rhode Island in April, 2010, hosted by Patients Out of Time –
