Follow a patient’s journey as she considers and then proceeds with deep brain stimulation surgery for the treatment of Parkinson Disease symptoms. Surgery is performed at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, FL in 2009. Discussion of DBS as a viable treatment for some patients in the earlier stages of PD.
